neiveIt is easy to understand why Neive belongs to the route of the “Most beautiful Italian villages“, you just need to have a look at its medieval old town with its typical houses with red roofs overlooking the narrow lanes.

You will also find other ancient testimonies: the Clock Tower, which is the last vestige of the old castle, the Baroque Archconfraternity of San Michele with its precious wooden portal, Cotto’s House with beautiful ceilings and fireplaces of the 18th Century.

Outside the village, along the Tinella torrent on the way to Mango, in the countryside you will also find a marvellous Romanesque bell tower, which belongs to the fascinating Church of Santa Maria del Piano.

Theme of the stop: “A multitude of wines and vineyards”

This land seems to be a present for man in order to enjoy good wine: the hills offer their slopes to the sun, and a tradition made up of hard work and enthusiasm has made the region of Langhe and Roero one of the most important centres of wine-growing worldwide.

Enjoy this land with the intense aromas of its wines, such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Arneis and Moscato, and admire the changing colours of its vineyards in the different seasons.
